‘Jeda’ is the indonesian word for ‘interlude’. Jeda Villa is the perfect hideaway for a peaceful holiday. Truly a Bali dream villa. Jeda Villa has three exclusive Bali dream villas and consists of two hectares of land with gorgeous sea, mountain and volcano views. This villa offer spacious inside living-spaces which are surrounded by large tropical gardens with a magnificent mountain backdrop. The private gardens are between 6000 and 10000 m2.
All of the Bali resort villas have private pools, terraces and traditional gazebos. Situated at the foot of the mountain ridge at the edge of the West Bali National Park, the villas overlook Pemuteran village and the ocean 900 meters away. Five East Javanese volcanoes can be seen in the distance, especially during the evening’s breathtaking sunsets. The thatched-roof villas have been designed to use both traditional Balinese and modern architectural elements and they blend in perfectly with the natural environment.
There are two 3 bedroom villas and one 2 bedroom villas. All villas have the same design. One 3 bedrooms villa is a little more compact than the others, but has a larger terrace (151m2).
Living in the tropics is best described by the term ‘veranda-living’. The spacious and open character of the villas give guests the opportunity to live and dine outside. The upstairs area in the villas offers a study, library, TV room and in one villa an extra bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, the villas all have a spacious kitchen, a large living- and dining area and deluxe bedrooms with en-suite open-air bathrooms, beautifully decorated with plants and flowers. All of the Jeda Villa bedrooms have double king-size beds and floor-to-ceiling built-in or separate wardrobes. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ventilators.

All bedrooms have spectacular views of the mountains, volcanoes and/or ocean. The floor-to-ceiling built-in or separate wardrobes provide space for your belongings. The double king- size beds have superior quality mattresses. Reading lamps are installed on the sides of the beds.
All bedrooms are directly connected to the spacious, light and open air-bathrooms which have terrazzo washbasins placed on polished concrete surrounds, floors made from light Yogja stone and natural stone covered walls. Each bathroom has a separate toilet discretely placed behind a little wall and a shower positioned in an open- air area. Each villa has a safe in each bedroom for storage of valuables.
Living & Dining
Downstairs: This villa have a large veranda that opens up to the garden (in front of the semi-closed kitchen and the bedrooms). The living area is under a soaring thatched roof and offers magnificent views of the mountains, the volcanoes of Java and the ocean. Because the villas are located 90 meters above sea-level, cooling breezes can be felt, which make living ultimately comfortable in a tropical climate. The living area has a lounge area with a built-in large sofa. The dining-pavilion sticks out into the garden under a third roof and has a large teak-wood dining table with comfortable chairs. The villa’s floors are made of handmade (off-white) polished cement floor-tiles and give the living areas a spacious, open ‘Ballroom’ feel.
Upstairs: On top of the bedrooms and kitchen, directly under the traditional thatched roofs every villa has extra living and/or bed/bathroom space. The upstairs areas have a library and lounge-area with TV and DVD-player.
Kitchen and Dining
The large semi - closed kitchen is situated in the centre of the villa for the guests’ convenience. Glass windows give the immaculate kitchen an abundance of light during the day. The polished concrete kitchen-top has one or two sink(s) and a four-pit-gas-stove. Large cabinets offer space for storage. The kitchen is provided with toaster, blender, juicer, microwave oven and fridge. Lunch and dinner can be ordered from a special villa menu. The staff will prepare and serve lunch and/or diner at request. Imported and local wines can be ordered from a villa wine list.
Pool and terrace
Jeda villa have large private swimming pools. The pools are covered with green natural stone tiles and are connected to the villas by spacious terraces which have deckchairs and umbrellas.
The Garden
Each villa has been positioned to offer the guests maximum privacy. The large lava-rocks that were on the land originally have been used to create borders and to shape the gardens. The gardens can best be described as ‘natural serene tropical gardens’ that blend in perfectly with the natural environment. In the garden Singapore-, palm-, Frangipani- and Cambodia-trees have been planted as well as bamboo and huge borders of Bougainville. This combined with the beautiful views of the mountains, volcanoes and ocean make the gardens of Jeda Villa a true delight.
Renting a villa in the tropics is a dream come true for many people. At Jeda Villa everything is taken care of. Transportation to or from the airport can be arranged, as well as a car (with or without driver) or motorbike for private use. Jeda Villa has it's own shuttle service to bring guests to the beach or restaurants. Other services provided are arrangements for accommodation elsewhere, diving and snorkeling trips and tours to places of interest nearby. A laundry service is provided free of charge. Lunches and diners prepared by the staff can be ordered from a special villa menu.
The villas have English-speaking staff. The supervisor, who lives in the staff-house 200 meters away, manages the property. The housekeeping staff takes care of cleaning and laundry. The garden staff maintains the pool and the garden. At night there is a security guard. At your request massages can be arranged at the villa.

Jeda Villa is located in Pemuteran, a village in the province Buleleng, North-Bali. It is an hour drive west of Lovina and a half hour drive east of Gilimanuk, where hourly ferries can be taken to Java. From the airport in South-Bali it is a three hours drive.
The village borders a government-owned national park, Taman Nasional Bali Barat (West Bali National Park), which stretches along the coast east- and westward. The northern slopes have the least rainfall during the year. The coastline offers one of the best diving in Bali. Menjangan Island is a well-known dive-area, with a dozen distinct dive-sites. A few up-scale resorts in Pemuteran are located around a small bay.
Local fishermen still go about their business at night. The beachfront is unique in Bali, due to its tranquil atmosphere. Sellers of souvenirs, massages and food are consciously being kept away by the local authorities. Leasuring at the beach in Pemuteran is hassle-free.
